PartsHub is operated by Decima Technologies Private Limited. This policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our website, contact us, create an account or place an order.
Information we collect
- Name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address.
- Account, order, delivery, payment-status and customer-service information.
- Vehicle information such as make, model, year, grade, chassis number or VIN, engine details, OEM/reference numbers and photographs supplied for compatibility checks.
- Messages and attachments sent through website forms, email or WhatsApp.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, cookies, login records and website usage data.
How we use your information
- Respond to enquiries and identify suitable parts.
- Verify vehicle-to-part compatibility.
- Process orders, payments, deliveries, returns and refunds.
- Manage customer accounts and provide support and service updates.
- Prevent fraud, protect the website and comply with accounting and legal obligations.
- Improve our catalogue, services and customer experience.
Payments
Online payments may be processed by PayHere or another payment provider displayed at checkout. PartsHub does not store your full payment-card number or card security code. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy and security terms.
When we share information
We share only the information reasonably required for the service with providers such as:
- WordPress, WooCommerce and website hosting or security providers.
- PayHere and other payment processors.
- Meta and WhatsApp where you choose to communicate through WhatsApp.
- Couriers, suppliers and sourcing partners where needed to fulfil an order or special request.
- Email, IT, accounting and professional-service providers.
- Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities where required by law.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
Data retention
Order, payment and accounting records may be kept for up to 7 years, or longer where required by law. General enquiries, compatibility information and part photographs may be kept for up to 24 months, unless they form part of an order, warranty claim or dispute. Account information is kept while the account remains active, subject to records we must retain for legal or business purposes.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for shopping-cart operation, login, security, language preferences, performance and analytics. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, although disabling some cookies may affect website functions.
